Dog/Cat Sterilisation at Hands That Heal Animal Care Foundation

DONATE for surgical items. We have built a room to carry out the surgeries but due to lack of funds we are unable to buy the necessary equipment like cautery machine, surgical sets and x-ray machine. It is imperative to build the surgery room for sterilisation and other surgeries, it has always been our main goal. This will help the rescuers and feeders who wish to get their community animals sterilised here.

WHY DO YOU FEED STRAY CATS/DOGS?

The main reason to feed community animals is to help with the Trap-Neuter-Release programme. TNR or Trap-Neuter-Release is the most humane and effective method known for managing community and stray dogs and cats and reducing their numbers, hence reducing the number of accidents. Kittens and puppies born on road eventually die due to hunger and malnutrition. TNR helps the community animals live a longer, healthy life.

What is a TNR?

TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) is a humane method of controlling the stray animal population by trapping, sterilizing, vaccinating, and returning them to their original location.

1

Trap

Stray animals are humanely trapped using safe and non-harmful methods.

2

Neuter

The animals undergo sterilization and vaccination to prevent overpopulation and improve their health.

3

Release

After recovery, they are safely returned to their original location, ensuring a balanced and healthier community.
