Karnal Bird Sanctuary Poster Campaign

We did an awareness poster campaign for the animals of Karnala Bird Sanctuary with help of Pankh Foundation and SAS India Volunteers. Monkeys play an important role in maintaining healthy forest ecosystems. They aid the process of seed dispersal as their diet consists majorly of fruits. When habituated feeding leads them out of their natural habitat, it also affects their foraging patterns. They come to the highway which cause accidents and deaths. This was an important project that was done in collaboration with the Karnala forest Rangers.

Vaccination Camp

We keep vaccination camp yearly for the community animals in our surrounding villages. With the help of the villagers we try to catch the dogs and cats as they tend to run away from our smell. We also try to help community feeders with the vaccines as vaccination for dogs/cats is must to avoid any future diseases and illness, so they can lead a happy and a healthy life.

Nagpur Silent Protest

More than 1000 animal lovers and feeders of Mumbai held a protest at Shivaji Park ground in light of the order that was issued by the Nagpur bench of the Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court on the issue of feeding stray dogs. 900 signatures were collected from Mumbai which was sent further. Later the supreme passed a stay on this order. Many other cities like Pune and Nagpur also held the same protest in their respective cities.
